Elisabetta Camajani

After attaining my Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with honors in 2013 from the University of Rome "Foro Italico," I continued my academic pursuit by earning a Master's degree in Human Nutrition Science from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in 2015, concluding this academic endeavor with the highest honors. Subsequently, I obtained professional accreditation in 2016 and furthered my education with a two-year second-level Master's degree in "Applied Nutrition, Food Safety, and Quality" in 2018, conducted at the "Campus Bio-Medico" University in Rome.

In 2023, I successfully completed my PhD in Endocrine, Andrological, and Metabolic Sciences from "La Sapienza" University in Rome with distinction. At present, I hold the position of Assistant professor at the Department of Human Sciences and Quality of Life Promotion at San Raffaele University in Rome. Additionally, I serve as an Adjunct Professor in Endocrinology and Nutrition within the undergraduate program for Physical Education and Sports Sciences at San Raffaele University Rome.

I actively collaborate with the Cardiovascular Endocrinology Laboratory at IRCCS San Raffaele, under the direction of Prof. Massimiliano Caprio.

As of now, I have co-authored 47 manuscript, with an h-index in Scopus of 19. Throughout my academic career, I have had the privilege of presenting my research findings at various distinguished scientific conferences, including a Flash Oral Communication at the European Congress of Endocrinology (Milan 2022), a Rapid Communication at the 108th Annual meeting of the Endocrine Society (Atlanta 2022), an Invited Speaker at the 5th SINSEB-SINUT - J Medical International Congress (Bologna 2022), and a Selected Oral Presentation at the IIEM National Congress of the Italian Society of Endocrinology (Naples 2022).
